Launched in 1994, the Excellent Service Award or EXSA is a national award that recognises individuals who have delivered quality service. It seeks to develop service models for staff to emulate and to create service champions.
This year marks the 25th anniversary for EXSA. ASA encourages all members to join this celebrative year by nominating and recognizing your deserving staff for this National Award.
Nominate Your Staff for EXSA 2019
Nomination for EXSA 2019 is now open for Silver, Gold, Star and Superstar Awards categories. Attractions may nominate as many deserving staff for Silver, Gold and Star awards. However, only one nominee will be accepted for SuperStar Award from each member attraction. The qualifying period for EXSA 2019 is from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.
ASA would not be accepting repeated nominations for the same personnel for the same category, unless they are of the Star Category. As the purpose of EXSA is to promote progressive improvement on service qualities, nominations are encouraged to be ascending in tiers.
The new set of criteria are shown below:
(1) The validity of all the award categories is for one year. Individuals who received the awards may be nominated for higher award category in the following year. Nomination for the same award category or lower category will not be accepted, except strictly for the Star award category. For example, an individual who has attained a Gold award in the current year may be nominated for the Star award in the following year; but not nominated for the Gold award again or Silver award.
(2) Individuals who have attained Star award would be advised to take a 3-year break, should they be nominated for Silver/Gold award the following year.
Nominations must reach ASA Secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org by 30 April 2019, 5pm using the official nomination form. Late submission will not be considered for EXSA 2019.
