Future Tourism Talent Dialogue

Held on 18 April 2023 at the Tourism Court, the Future Tourism Talent Dialogue was curated as a collaborative platform for industry partners to interact with students, understand their needs for meaningful internships and careers, and develop strategies to attract and retain young talents in the tourism sector. STB also presented the findings from Students’ Dipstick Survey and Tourism Careers Campaign.

The insights and expertise shared at the half-day between industry members (including ASA, NATAS, SACEOS, STGS) and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) helped to improve internship design to attract and prepare students for careers in the tourism sector. The association will update and engage members once we embark on the development of an industry-specific internship guide/programme for both businesses and interns.
